Albemarle Receives Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI)
Award for 3rd Consecutive Year
EDENTON, N.C., Oct. 26, 2005 – Albemarle Boats,
leading manufacturer of high-end offshore fishing boats, has received
a CSI award in the “Sterndrive Cuddy Express” and “Inboard
Express Fishing” categories. The Awards were presented by the National
Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) at the 2005 International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition
and Conference (IBEX) Industry Breakfast, on Friday, Oct. 21.
The Marine Industry CSI awards program recognizes participating companies
that have “actively measured customer service satisfaction to pursue
continuous improvement.” The award was given to companies that
achieved and maintained a customer satisfaction level of 90% or higher
over the past year, based on information provided by more than 50,000
consumers purchasing a new boat and engine between July 2004 and June
2005.
“
We are thrilled to have been recognized with this prestigious award for
the third consecutive year,” says Albemarle Customer Service and
Dealer Development Manager Ted Haigler. “I think it speaks volumes
about the entire Albemarle family including our employees, owners and
dealers. Further, Hatteras Yachts was recognized as well and it shows
that the newly formed Hatteras Collection is working hard towards providing
only the best in
customer satisfaction.”
